Bookbinding is the culmination of thousands of years of history. The first designers and artists did page layout and typesetting. Hence, this journal was a journey into learning the process of creating a book from scratch. Every single page was designed from the ground up, printed on recycled paper, and hand bound. The cover was hand burned and stained. It is complete with inserts and linoleum cut stamps.

Sweeter than Sin has been featured in many pages of this website already. This page aims to bring focus to the package design and illustrative intersection in the brand identity. 

As a DnD nerd myself, this piece was a brand extension of the character journal above. It featured hand cut spray paint stencils and machine sewn bags. These bags come in three major designs. 

This tower was a play on the metaphor for life being a house of cards. While Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs promotes the idea that one's life foundations must be stable to achieve self actualization, this is rarely the case for people.

While these mockups are no longer in use, they were originally created to advertise an online store and model brand apparel.
